B. John Burns

B. John Burns is an obscure Johnston, Iowa songwriter who celebrated his Golden Jubilee in 2022. John has written approximately 5,000 songs in nearly every genre of music. He has appeared in 25 states, and continues to perform his tunes for mostly small, intimate audiences on piano, guitar, and ukulele.

Anne Lorelle & Tim Earp

Tim Earp and Anne Lorelle have been making music together for ten years. A beautiful blend of voice and guitar with a folk, blues, and pop sound. Anne Lorelle released an album while living/gigging in Austin, Texas in 2008.

Matt Terronez is an Iowa-based singer-songwriter and Iowa Rock-&-Roll Hall of Famer. Matt's music blends, folk, rock, and jazz with material ranging from originals, to obscure gems, to heavily reworked classics.

The Blues Bureau

Jodi and Dewey first met in 1999 at a local jam, founded The Blues Bureau Band, and now, over 20 years later, are one of the Iowa's most enduring active musical collaborations. Collectively their music has put them on the bill with such notables as Blues Traveler, Shemekia Copeland, Sonny Rhodes and Kelly Hunt, and played events such as The Mississippi Valley Blues Festival, Bowlful of Blues, and Nightfall on The River.

Derry & the Dirty Dishes

"Des Moines area native Derek Muse Lambert is no stranger to the children’s music scene. With a two, six and nine-year-old at home, he and his wife Ramona know their way around a tune like “Wheels on the Bus.”

The Muse Lamberts have a long musical history together, having fallen in love on tour with Leslie and the LY’s and continued their music careers in projects like Ramona & The Sometimes and The Book of Bugs. Now, as very involved parents, Derek and Ramona find themselves making up songs for their kids all the time. Those ditties have now become Three Day Weekend, Derry & the Dirty Dishes’ debut album."

Ramona and the Sometimes

Ramona and the Sometimes is a Des Moines, IA based 5-piece pop-rock band led by multimedia artist Ramona Muse Lambert. The group relies on accessible hooks and pop song structures with emotionally raw, often positive and uplifting lyrical content. The songs frequently use lighthearted, occasionally humorous imagery to address more serious subject matter and darker emotions. With Muse Lambert's roots being in visual arts, the project explores a strong visual element, with ever-evolving costume and stage design to enhance the live performance.

Bridges 2 Harmony Gospel Choir

(B2H) is in its 18th year at Roosevelt High School in Des Moines, Iowa. Founded by Rev. James McNear, Jr., the choir was formed to give students at Roosevelt a high quality musical experience in the gospel genre, while building community connections. Currently under the direction of Mr. Alexander Gray, Bridges 2 Harmony has performed in front of a number of notable figures and transformed many lives across the world.
